Eric Lefkofsky is all about helping others but did not think he would ever have his own business trying to find a cure for cancer. Eric Lefkofsky was a Michigan native & this is why he knew he wanted to go to UM ever since he was in the 3rd grade. Years before he became the founder of Tempus medical research firm, the successful businessman and entrepreneur did not think he would be able to get into it at first but he soon got an acceptance letter from them when he was in the middle of his senior year.
As such, once he graduated from high school in the spring of 87, he went on to be a freshman on their campus & this is when he began to hit his stride. After he was done with all of his undergrad courses, Eric Lefkofsky decided it was time for him to go off to law school & this is how he got his JD in the winter of 91. As he made his way out into the real world, Eric Lefkofsky began to start up a business that would change the world.
Successful entrepreneur and CEO Eric Lefkofsky was not sure if tempus was a good name for it at first but soon realized it would do just fine. Their goal is fighting back against depression & diabetes in addition to their cancer cure endeavor. Eric Lefkofsky recently raised more than $620 million & this means their total is now up to $6 billion. As he looks to the future, Eric Lefkofsky hopes he can help make the world a better place.
